“Women will love it and men need to read it.”

Wow. Me, reading a love story? I’ll never say never again. A must read for any man who has the courage to listen to another man talk about the love of his life. I was literally hooked before finishing page one. Luster’s passionate narrations will induce you to follow his anguish of losing the new love of his life and the struggle of keeping her present through poetry. To love is one thing, to passionately articulate it is a beautiful gift.

Words cannot express how much I love this book. The poems are amazing and varied, but I really love that each one comes with an explanation of where Luster was in his blooming relationship. Everyone needs this book. I just wish I could express my love to my wife the way Luster did with these poems. You really need this book!

From the Well of My Soul is an eloquently written and romantic story told in prose and poetry. The author, Luster Lewis, weaves their story into a beautiful tale of an exceptional courtship. A wonderful tribute to the poet’s deep love for his lover and wife by a talented writer.

This is a must have for any bookshelf! It’s a poignant love story written by the most amazing husband to his wife. A love story that most of us can only experience through books and dreams. A story that we can all aspire to try to emulate. Don’t waste any more time on fictional love stories until you read this one!

After accidentally meeting Marilyn, the producer of this book, while on an airplane a few months ago, I was introduced to her and this book. She told me the story of this book as we flew across the country.
It’s a treasure! It tells the story of Marilyn and Luster’s relationship along with poetry created by Luster. The book encompasses many emotions as he tells the story of their love. It’s unusual to read a book of poetry that tells a story at the same time, and even for that reason alone, I believe readers will enjoy it. After reading it I wanted my husband to write me a poem. The sentiments in this book are timeless and will live on in many hearts.

This is a fast read. A love story from the point of view of Luster – the author – and his life with Marilyn – the muse. An interesting take on the twists and turns that life can take you through, and how in many cases we are at the mercy of the decisions we make.
